After several years of world-wide restrictions from COVID, it is with great enthusiasm and anticipation to hold our in-person 16th World Congress meeting of 2024 in Strasbourg, France.

Nestled in the beauty of Alsace, its historic capital Strasbourg embodies vibrant culture and splendid architecture as a product of centuries of unity and peace – a befitting place for OESO, the oldest, multidisciplinary, and international society of Oesophagology, to welcome past and new members.

Thanks to steadfast work and planning of our members, and with generous support and collaboration of sponsors, we have an exciting program of courses, hands-on training, and presentations by worldrenown faculty to expand on topics from our ongoing Virtual Education Channel.

We welcome also young investigators and care-providers as future thought-leaders in this field through presentation of abstracts and becoming involved in our Society.
